Thanks for this. I really despair for the future strategy- even offshore wind projects such as that off Choshi also seem to be under threat….Japan desperately needs to take a lead here and it’s being held back by the same old cronies.
I must admit that I share your pessimism. Offshore wind in particular is in the tough spot with cost increases and supply chain issues, not just in Japan. On top of that, the momentum behind global climate action is imploding with Trump's comprehensive rollback of climate & clean energy policies.
